Computer games or television or internet?

its funny when i was younger my family always called me to come downstairs and be with the family,but the problem was my family would all just sit and watch tv and hardly say anything,so when someone says to me you play to many computer games or browse the web i say well its better than watching tv for 5-6 hours a day,all though i was brought up around tv i must admit i have started reading alot and now i actually like reading books and info on the net.is it the same for most of you on here,was your family boring or interesting, do like to play computer games,internet, etc.

i recently bought an x-box and a gamecube halo and rogue leader are brilliant im hooked!!!!

At Eidos I started out in TEST (yuk!) then moved to CUSTOMER SERVICES, then moved to EVALUATION & TECHNICAL SUPPORT. Nothing as interesting as design :o) Most of the designers were/are not inhouse.

Eidos are still going mate. They just closed down our midlands office in the UK. While I was there it was great fun. Loads of network gaming and free stuff (games'n'things).

Erm... if you pop along to my website, you'll see the games I love :o)

I also have Gamecube (the imported US model) - a wicked PC and a heap of older consoles and GBA + flashlinker. I am an addict, although design work takes most of my time at the moment.

I used to work for Eidos Interactive as well :o) Just to drag my hobbie into the work place !

By the way, my parents were and are terminally dull TV addicts. At least the net and computer games involve the viewer/player via interaction.

Readings cool as well ............... check the book THE WASP FACTORY / IAIN BANKS for one hell of a weird ride ;o)

Chickens, Chimps, and Watchtower Politics

of course you might think the watchtower society is going to be around for a long time and harming peoples lives by their doctrines on blood use, toleration of pedophiles in their midst, and their big stick of shunning.

have you ever considered the possibility though that some behavioral studies of chickens and chimps can give us clues about what is happening now and what is in store for the borg a few years down the road?

i dont have a long intricate and far-fetched plot to share with you here, only some general but perhaps useable guidelines that you can use for understanding the politics that is happening in the society.

i just wanted to get some opinions on this matter from everyone.

support here in the states is pretty solid but very weak in europe.

i will make my prediction (ie you know) that we will be having a little sand party within a year.

I agree with Fredhall in a way .....

But, I'd rather see a deathmatch in a small Quake 3 arena, broadcast across the planet. The loser is shipped off to a small island full of JWs ....

The news I heard was that he would only allow inspectors in for a two week period and they could go where they wanted. Only UN people. The big moan was that two weeks was simply not enough time to correctly inspect the facilities (which is fair enough if that is true). I could be wrong here and I could check, but I'm getting tired and can't be arsed to browse the news archives at the moment.

Hmmm... the news, now how can we trust the news ??? Where does truth, lie ?

The way I see it though, is that they all look at each others big cocks and say, "mmmm .... very nice, we've got a cock as big as yours" all the time having no real intention of taking the size down to a one incher.
